Introduction:

The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely stable, 6.4 mm thick blade made from N690. The name of the knife goes back to James "Jim" Bowie, the famous pioneer and soldier who is revered as a hero of the Wild West. Contrary to the widely copied Sheffield Bowie, the variations of this outdoor knife resemble the early American Bowie with its s-shaped stainless steel crossguard sporting a finely satinized surface. The exquisite scales of domestic oak lend the Boker Bowie even more authenticity. Comes with a high-quality Western leather sheath in black, design based on the original.

The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely sturdy blade made from N690 and exclusive handle scales made from carefully selected stag. Due to the considerable size and thickness of the handle scales, it was difficult and expensive to find the right supplier for premium-grade stag. At last, the search was successful, and we are happy to offer our many Bowie knife fans a high-end classic version. Handcrafted by Boker Manufactory Solingen. German Böker "Försternicker" Hunting Stag Knife

Introduction:

With the Boker Försternicker, we are calling on traditional values, since this vintage version of the Nicker used to be a popular part of our program several decades ago. The slightly wider, curved blade is typical for this design, offering a somewhat larger task profile than the classic pointed hunting knife. The curved spine with subtle thumb grooves add to the comfortable grip and highlight the exclusive design.
The Försternicker is ideal for all outdoor tasks on the hunt, since the sturdy blade with its high flat grind combines stability with excellent cutting properties. The use of modern Böhler N690 for the blade highlights the exceptional practical value thanks to the superior edge retention compared to classic nicker steel. It is also easy to sharpen.
The nickel silver bolster and butt give the Försternicker an excellent grip. The knife is easy to carry in the classic nicker sheath. With scales made from carefully selected stag.

Introduction:

This modern classic is a full-size survival knife whose versatility helps it to tackle any situation one might come across in the wild. From building a shelter to hunting uses and intercepting or skinning game, or even preparing meals, the Boker German Expedition Knife leaves nothing to be desired. The versatile blade shape is based on the experience of Tony Lennartz, while the G.E.K. has also gained wide appeal by practitioners as a highly versatile tool. This exceedingly rugged design uses N690 as the blade steel, which provides an excellent foundation with its grain structure and good corrosion resistance The rugged stonewash finish combines an easy to care for finish with an attractive visual appeal.

The handle design of the G.E.K. was enhanced in an effort to perfect the ergonomics for the various grip positions. The perforated design of the handle ensures moderate weight, while the exchangeable G10 handle scales provide optimum grip and extremely secure handling. The impact element on the pommel increases the range of uses. The left-handed or right-handed carry premium black leather sheath is designed for Lennartz' favorite carrying option - the cross draw. The knife is positioned diagonally on the belt and can be deployed or stowed away with ease. The knife is secured with a two-sided push-button closure.

Introduction:

The compact version of the Boker German Expedition Knife by Tony Lennartz has the same strong characteristics of its big brother, but in a more practical and easy to handle size due to its reduced blade length. As a result, the G.E.K. EDC is an excellent and versatile tool not only in the wild, but is also a competent companion for professional public safety or everyday use. Here as well, the N690 blade steel with its stonewash finish is an outstanding raw material, while the exchangeable G10 handle scales provide solid and secure handling in any weather condition.

The premium black leather sheath is also ambidextrous, and can be carried diagonally in the typical Lennartz manner. Here as well, the push-button closure can be operated from the left or right, giving the knife secure and intuitive handling for any carrying option. As a true allrounder, it is equally versatile and rugged, but can be comfortably carried due to its moderate weight and the clever blade design.

German Böker "Gobec" Nicker Knife

Introduction:

The new edition of the popular Jagdnicker, a fixed-blade hunting knife by Stefan Gobec, is drop forged and fully integral. You can wear the leather sheath either on the belt or more traditionally without the removable belt loop in the knife pocket of your leather or hunting pants. The finely polished blade is small, as is typical for this kind of knife, but is very sturdy at 4 mm thickness. A classic which impressively combines hunting tradition and meticulous craftsmanship. The blade uses the classic Solingen blade steel 4034. The scales are made of genuine stag.

German Böker "Siwss Army Dagger"

Introduction:

The Swiss Dagger was a common weapon of the Swiss pikemen in the 15th and 16th century, which often had a middle position between dagger and sword due to its blade length. The dagger, also known as Baselard, was usually not issued as ordinance weapons, but had to be purchased privately by the soldiers and then served as a secondary weapon. Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard. The unusual, curved design can be traced back to the early 13th century and can also be found in the authentic design of our hand-made edition. Handpicked local cherry wood is used for the handles of the dagger, which has enjoyed great popularity since ancient times, especially because of its reddish color. The dagger blade, sharpened and pointed on both sides, already had a diamond-shaped cross-section in historical models, because this construction proved to be extremely stable and effective. It is made of the classic Carbon Steel C75 and impresses simply because of its length. The satin-finished blade is marked with the original Boker blade logo from the 1930s. The logo and the individual serial number guarantee the authenticity of the knife and stand for consistently high production quality. With elaborate metal sheath according to the historical models.

German Böker "Siwss Army Mosaic Damascus Dagger"

Introduction:

As early as the 15th and 16th centuries, the Swiss dagger was used as a common weapon by Swiss pikemen and, due to its blade length, often occupied a middle position between dagger and sword. The dagger, also known as a baselard, usually served as a secondary weapon and was usually not issued as equipment, but had to be procured privately by the soldiers.

The extraordinary Twisted Damascus is now followed by the Mosaic Damascus, which is also very complex to manufacture. It is one of the royal class of Damascus forging and makes the impressive dagger an absolute highlight in every knife collection. In contrast to conventional Damascus, no layers are produced in the manufacture of Mosaic Damascus. Instead, complex Damascus bars are forged by hand into a mosaic in an elaborate and very complicated process. To do this, the Damascus package, which initially consists of stacked layers, is cut up and reassembled in a staggered manner to create a unique mosaic pattern at the end faces of the bar. The DAMASCUS is then cut up again and the complex process is repeated several times, the resulting pattern becoming finer and more unique with each step. Finally, the individual packages are stacked and forged in the shape of a square so that the ends of the individual pieces form a new surface. Forging temperature, forming, deformation rate and the previous steps must be optimally coordinated. This extremely demanding forging process, which only few DAMASCUS smiths master, is carried out to perfection for our Swiss dagger by Chad Nichols.

Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard. The unusual, curved design can be traced back to the early 13th century and can also be found in the authentic design of our hand-made edition. The shimmering dark handle made of hand-picked certified imported EBONY is bordered by the highly polished pommel and the crossguard and forms a perfect unit with the fine blade.

The leather sheath, specially designed and handsewn for this model, underlines the exclusivity of this coveted collector‘s item. It is delivered with an individual serial number in a noble wooden box and with a certificate of authenticity. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory Solingen and strictly limited to 500 pieces worldwide.
