German PUMA Skinner Hunting Knife

Introduction:

The PUMA "skinner" model is a special knife in a classic shape that was developed in the second half of the last century and has lost none of its popularity - by PUMA Solingen.
The tip of the Skinner blade, which is typical for skinning, is slightly above the back of the blade on this Solingen classic. As a result, the cutting edge becomes very bulbous in the front part and is thus lengthened. This has the advantage that much longer cuts can be made and the need to apply the knife repeatedly is reduced. Since the tip of the blade is very high, the risk of accidentally stabbing the valuable fur is also significantly reduced. Distortion-free pakkawood scales and reliable aluminum finger protection sit on the continuous flat tang.

Introduction:

The Puma"skinner" is a special knife in classic form, which was already developed in the second half of the last century and has lost nothing of its popularity - from PUMA Solingen.

The tip of the skinner blade, which is typical for skinning, is slightly above the back of the blade on this Solingen classic. This makes the cutting edge very bulbous in the front part and thus lengthens it. This has the advantage that much longer cuts can be made and the repeated application of the knife is reduced. Since the tip of the blade is very high up, the risk of accidentally piercing the precious hide is also significantly minimized.  On the continuous Flacherl sit selected deer horn scales and a reliable finger protection made of aluminum.

Puma "White Hunter 240 stag" is a further development of the classic with tried and tested universal blade for the strongest demands - from PUMA Solingen.

The PUMA "White Hunter 240" is a new version of the well-known classic. On the occasion of our 240th company anniversary, we have reworked it and modified it according to the latest ergonomic findings, but without changing the proven characteristics of the original model. The sturdy tip is robust enough to open cans or pry open crown caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the center of the back of the blade for coarse work such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. Our "white hunter 240" in this version is equipped with deer horn handle scales, which are firmly riveted to the tang that goes fully through the handle. With all these attributes, this successful model from the house of PUMA is and remains an innovative knife that is suitable for all conceivable applications.
