From Manufactures Muela we present our new knives Muela PODENQUERO-TH, limited edition 25 anniversary. Unique series of 250 numbered pieces, with deer horn handles and sheath made by the artisan workshop "Quercur Leathercraft".
Among the hundreds of models created by Manufacturas Muela throughout its more than 60 years of history, several stand out for having become emblematic pieces.
Hunting knives play an undeniable role in our production, with the "top" knives being among the most appreciated and distinctive. These are knives designed for the finishing off of big game, when the hunter has to do without his firearm because of the risk of injuring the dogs that even put their lives at stake to catch deer and pigs.
And most of them are pruning dogs that take part in these casts, a breed that arose in ancient Egypt and that has been divided into different varieties, always depending on their use in hunting.
The dogs are fundamental in the "Spanish Montería", but not less important is the person in charge of training and directing them, the "podenquero" who knows how to beat the mountain to get the hunt and to whom Muela now renews his homage with a luxury model that marks the 25th anniversary of the first Podenquero knife in our catalog.
