PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a variety of vacuum deposition methods used to deposit thin films by the condensation of a vaporized form of the desired film material onto various workpiece surface. The coating method involves purely physical process such as high temperature vacuum evaporation with subsequent condensation.
The new series Sputnik especially shines with particularly high use value and an extremely secure grip. The rubbery Forprene handle the Sputnik models are to handle even when wet or cold very comfortable and safe, including the numerous depressions and grooves to play their part. The small built-in guard also carries an eyelet as the glass breaker in the grip end, whereby the Sputnik example can be tied also to a stick. The blade of N690Co is Cerakote-coated and optimally dimensioned with thickness from 5mm to combine cutting potential and stability. The highly functional symmetrical sheath is made of fiberglass and is located in a MOLLE compatible nylon holder with belt loop and detachable leg straps.

The new fixed blade from Fox Knives is called Tokala and recalls the spirit of the fox in the Native American language, an animal that holds the meaning of invisibility and the ability to see into the future, so much so that legends say she was the one who gave humans the knowledge of fire. This fixed blade is inspired by the design of the FX-103 from which it takes its blade, the handle has a final angle and oval outline that give it a solid and strong grip.
The Eastwood Tiger was born in 2021 with the frame lock line and is now revamped with a fixed blade version. This model was designed by Gudy Von Poppel with the idea of designing a tactical knife that was strong and efficient and managed to evoke classic lines, features and materials. Operation certainly succeeded especially in this new version that provides a firm grip thanks also to the modestly sized guard that blocks the handle during the most difficult jobs.
