This is a very fine knife for Falconers. The fixed blade falconry knife from PUMA can be used for all work during the hunt. It is extremely handy, the black micarta handle scales are attached with brass rivets. The front and top jaws are also made of brass. We deliver the falknersheil II including a high quality leather sheath.
The falknersheil was developed with the help of several experienced falconers and especially by Horst Niesters in the early 1970s. The blade is designed to chop up food for the birds and to bag the game catched by the falcon. There is a small "blunt" notch in the middle of the cutting edge. It should signal to the falconer that the cutting edge is sharpened from the tip of the blade to this notch. The rest of the blade is blunt to protect the birds of prey.

The Puma Reh knife belongs to the traditionally manufactured hunting nickers and is a classic hunting companion in German hunting grounds - from PUMA Solingen.
The PUMA "Reh" is a classic nicker made of stainless steel in a stable, forged design. Blade, hand guard and flat form a single unit and are only complemented by the deer horn scales. The term "Nicker" originates from its original function as a "neck catcher". Due to its intended purpose, the traditionally designed blade is very pointed and widens continuously towards the back in the direction of the handle. This is the form in which the Nicker has been found in our pattern books for well over a hundred years.

We would like to introduce you to an exclusive hunting knife from the PUMA unicum series. The unicum series are unique pieces that are manufactured with great attention to detail. Each of these knives is numbered consecutively. The PUMA unicum #71 hunting knife presented here is made from Sandvik 14C28N blade steel, hardened to 60-62 HRC. A striking feature of the blade is the generous thumb rest for precise cutting. Durable pakkawood was chosen for the handle scales. This knife was created in collaboration with the knifemaker Anatolii Lütiy. His name is laser engraved on the blade.
This unique piece comes with a certificate of authenticity, a leather sheath, and original packaging in wooden box.
