The ergonomic handle provides a safe handling of the blade. This knife design is a successful synthesis of traditional Asian and European forms, combined with own first-hand experience. The Robuster combines history, elegance, and practicality. Everything that interferes with the performance, like a long ricasso, a paring rod, or a clumsy grip, has been avoided to create a utility knife with extraordinarily high useability. The stylistic base of the handle is taken from a well-prooven European saber grip design of the early 19th century and promises a secure grip even under difficult circumstances. In contrast to conventional knife handles, the rear circumference of this handle is significantly thinner, to let all fingers completely encompass the handle. The perfect combination of history and functionality. The knife blade shows a curved widening at the front, inspired by the forms of the Filipino Bolo Knives.

The Puma Saubart knife is a handy and short, yet very powerful knife in full-tang construction for universal use - from PUMA Solingen.

The PUMA “saubart” offers the user many advantages due to the following features:

Sandvik stainless steel 14C28N is used as blade material, which brings it to a Rockwell hardness of 60-62 HRC, which gives the knife a high cutting strength.

The new blade shape, previously tested by hunters, allows the use of the complete cutting surface. In addition, the blade back is provided with a ground phase.

With a blade length of 100 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, the knife is compact and allows practical handling. Thanks to the solid construction, the “saubart” is also very stable.

Introduction:

The Puma Skinmaster knife is a solid integral knife, drop-forged from one piece of steel - from PUMA Solingen.

"Knocking out of the blanket", "skinning" and "abalgen" are the technical terms in the hunter's language for the activity of skinning. To be able to work professionally and effectively, a specially designed skinning knife is recommended for this purpose. Our practice-oriented designed model "skinmaster" is drop-forged from one piece of steel according to DIN WN 1.4116 and is therefore extremely stable. When we developed our PUMA Waidwerk ergonomics had the highest priority. We teamed up with a professional hunter and a butcher to create this special blade design. We chose to use hard Sandvik 14C28N steel for the 4.330” inch (110mm) long blade because it holds the edge incredibly well. The PUMA "White Hunter 240" is a new version of the well-known classic. On the occasion of our 240th company anniversary, we have reworked it and modified it according to the latest ergonomic findings, but without changing the proven characteristics of the original model. The sturdy tip is robust enough to open cans or pry open crown caps. A hatchet edge is ground into the center of the back of the blade for coarse work such as splitting firewood or chopping bones. German PUMA White Hunter "Leopard" Hunting Knife

The "White Hunter" is an ultimate classic hunting knife with decades of proven universal blade for the strongest demands - Handmade in Solingen.

Developed in 1956 for the East African hunting organization Eapha, the Puma "White Hunter" quickly became known as the ultimate outdoor knife worldwide and is now considered an extremely popular classic. His blade shape is well thought out and effortlessly meets all conceivable requirements. The stable tip is robust enough to open cans or pry over crown corks. In the middle of the back of the blade is a cap cut, which is used for rough work, such as firewood columns or chopping bones. In addition, the blade has a practical saw toothing in the rear area of the cutting edge to cut green branches, fish skin, or similar material with a solid surface. 

This classic model features high-quality Peach root wood with brass inlay in handle that are securely attached to the knife's tang. The knife is made from a single piece of steel, which runs continuously from the tip of the blade through the whole handle.
