All the more reason for us to be happy to follow the Slack by Boker Plus with one of his most popular models, the Boxer, now available from our Solingen Manufactory. The classic backlock combines Mediterranean influences of the blade shape with elements of a traditional pocketknife - an intriguing combination with a unique flair. The blade consists of N690 with a fine satin finish. The stainless steel bolsters sport Raphaël Durand's signature groove. The scales consist of exquisite and durable certified imported Desert ironwood. The handy size is the perfect compromise between pocket dimensions and versatile functionality, which makes the Boxer a true all-rounder and a sure favorite of fans of unique pocket knives.

The cobalt-alloyed N690 by Böhler (not to be confused with the lower-grade N695!) is a very reliable upper middle-grade steel we use at our Solingen manufacture for a wide variety of projects. The fine-grained N690, which ranks above 440C, offers convincing performance data in all areas. It is often sold as N690Co – the "Co" stands for cobalt and describes the exact same steel.

Introduction:

A lot has happened behind the scenes around this folding knife, but the aim has always been the same – to produce a folding knife with a sensible size and attractive design. Since we have sold folding knives for a long time we wanted to use that experience and make a knife that was practical, attractive and reliable. The P folder was born. From start with a blade in solid VG10, nowadays with a blade in laminated powder steel, our famous 3G stainless steel. The P folder is easy to clean since the back of the handle is open, something that makes it very suitable for hunting purposes. All models come with a black cordura sheath, which attaches to the belt.

In general, a folding knife can never be as strong as a sheath knife, and since it is the result of several hundred different work operations, it must of course be more expensive to manufacture. On the other hand it is a handy format and acceptable in many situations.Inspired by the world famous knifemaker R.W. Loveless, mod. P is a symbiosis between advanced technology, genuine handicraft and timeless design – a knife for the modern hunter. Today available with a handle in desert ironwood or hi-tech carbon fiber. Cordura sheath included.

The "4-star"- Buffalo version is a true classic that combines high functionality with an elegant appearance - from PUMA Solingen.

The PUMA 4-Star series originates from the collaboration with American hunters and trappers. The knives have been part of our range for around half a century and are characterised by their comfortable shape, robust, stainless drop point blade and solid nickel silver bolsters. The new ‘4-star’ model has a 72 mm long blade made of 1.4110 steel with a back-lock mechanism and elegant buffalo horn handle scales. This fine pocket knife from our Solingen production is a helpful companion in all situations.
