Introduction:

The Boker Barlow BFF designed by Lucas Burley is manufactured as a fixed EDC in full tang construction and in this version is supplied with handle scales made of green canvas Micarta. The renowned designer and full-time knifemaker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the tried-and-tested Barlow and the modern elements of his line design known as Post Tactical. The characteristic drop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century, which certainly makes it one of the oldest models ever. The name of the classic probably goes back to an enterprising Sheffield knife manufacturer of the same name, who began exporting the robust knives to North America around 1800. There they immediately enjoyed great popularity and so the first Barlow models also appeared in the history of the Boker Manufactory at the end of the 19th century.

In this fixed version, tradition, everyday utility and a touch of tactical finesse find a harmonious consonance. The compact Barlow BFF is made of ice-hardened AEB-L, a versatile blade steel supplied with excellent cutting capabilities, good rust resistance and easy resharpening. The fixed blade version of the timeless classic is supplied with contoured textured micarta handle scales and feels comfortable in the hand. The decorative hollow brass rivet also serves as a lanyard hole and adds a visual accent together with the rivets of the same colour. Supplied with a custom-fit black leather sheath that ensures a high level of carrying comfort thanks to the integrated clip. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.

German Böker  Camaro 1969 Z28 Damascus knife

Introduction:

Legends are not born; they are shaped by time until their moment to shape time has come. They don't live a myth, they create it and leave behind a venerable legacy. In 1966, the foundation stone for another icon was laid in Detroit, Michigan. In the epicentre of the US automotive industry, numerous vehicles see the light of day. Many of them are ordinary cars, while others are exclusively chosen. The Chevrolet Camaro was originally designed as a so-called Pony Car, which was intended to appeal primarily to younger buyer groups. Compact, sporty and affordable - the coupé was the stalwart for the semi-strong. Success was not long in coming. From 1966 to 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaro models with 12 different engine variants rolled off the production line. In 1969, the last Camaro of the first generation, the Z28, was introduced. Connoisseurs consider this model to be one of the best of all series. A massive V8 small block engine with 216 kW (290 hp) and a Special Performance Package propelled the Camaro Z28 into the select league of muscle cars, sporty stripes on the body included. The motorsport DNA of the now coveted collector's item cannot be denied either. The engine used is a toned-down version of the successful and highly decorated Penske Camaro from the SCAA Trans AM racing series.

Boker quotes the design of the Camaro Z28 and revives the legend. The result is more than just a knife. An attitude to life, the dignified road trip with the bubbling sound of the V8 engine on the seemingly endless highway, gentle rays of sunlight streaking across the canyon and warming the soul. Unforgettable moments without everyday life - just like the extraordinary Boker 1969 Z28- Damascus. In collaboration with the Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique "muscle knife" was created that combines the distinctive character traits of the Camaro Z28 in form and strength. The elegant Damascus drop-point blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols with 80 layers in the “Tread” pattern, reminisces of the sloping cowl induction bonnet of the muscle car. For this purpose, parts of the upper A-arm from the Camaro were used for the blade, that opens smoothly with the blue thumb stud, while the biting stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. Based on a colour analysis of an original model, the finely tuned lacquer finish in "Le Mans Blue" was created especially for Boker for the aluminium handle, which interprets the lines of the body in a nostalgic way and comes up with exciting details. The notchback, the small rear spoiler and the gill-like air intakes on the rear wings have been beautifully integrated into the knife. The blade axle screw is lovingly inspired by the rims often used on muscle cars, whereas the straight-lined stainless steel clip, milled from the solid, is reminiscent of the chrome-plated door handles. German Böker XL 2.0 Grenadill Full Tang Knife

Introduction:

The big brother of the ageless trusty Full-Tang addresses the frequently expressed desire for a larger version. With a blade length of approx. 14.7 cm, the Full-Tang is also appropriate for bigger game, from Northern Europe to overseas. The Full-Tang XL gets the same model maintenance features as the smaller Full-Tang. The handle was given a more crowned shape, while the parrying element and pommel are rounded to optimize visual appeal and handling. Moreover, the Full-Tang XL now also has the finger grooves of the more compact model to achieve the best possible ergonomics. The blade on the XL was also converted to a flat grind to maximize blade strength. Die-forged from a single 440C blank. Shipped with leather sheath. With scales made from premium certified imported grenadill wood.

German Böker "Trench" Knife Grabendolch

Introduction:

During the positional war during the First World War and the resulting trench warfare, many of the insufficiently equipped soldiers developed auxiliary weapons, which were manufactured in field forges and workshops on and behind the front. In the course of the battles, however, it became clear that the soldiers' equipment and armament did not meet the requirements of this particular fighting style. In 1915 Boker was therefore commissioned by the Ministry of War to develop a compact combat knife that was ideally suited for precisely this purpose.
The true-to-the-original Boker Trench Knive also has a stainless steel blade made of C75. This carbon steel with an enormous edge retention requires appropriate care today as it did then. The massive stainless steel crossguard, the old official tang stamp on the blade, the local ribbed wood handle and the authentic sheath made of high-quality leather are also part of the original equipment. The knives are marked with a serial number.

As familiar as it used to be, the single-blade Boker hunting pocket knife had been missing from our product range for a long time. However, we listened to the many inquiries we received regarding a new version - and so, this particularly sturdy knife is once again complementing our Trio and Quadro series. Focusing on the most important feature, which is the potent 3.5 mm blade, the Mono is the perfect knife for the huntsman who doesn't care for additional tools. The blade is secured via the usual back lock. The nickel silver bolsters and stag scales pay homage to tradition. The blade is made from powder metallurgical CPM CruWear with great edge retention. With its outstanding performance profile and a Rockwell hardness of 62-63 HRC, this steel has already set the standard for the Trio CPM and Quadro CPM.

Edge retention describes the resistance of the edge of a blade against being dulled by chemical, mechanical and thermal influences. It expresses how long the blade remains sharp under certain circumstances and over a certain period of time. This property is determined by the blade material, the production process employed to make the blade, and its edge geometry. Another major factor is the behavior of the user, which has a significant influence on a blade\'s edge retention. If the knife is used incorrectly or not for its intended purpose, the edge will wear out quickly and might even be destroyed.

Introduction:

This slim Wine Knife features a blade, a cap lifter and naturally a corkscrew in order to equip the owner for all eventualities. The scales pick up this thought and are made of the local Oak Woodof old wine barrels. The blade is made of 4034 steel, the classic blade steel from Solingen, which combines corrosion resistance with edge retention and is easy to sharpen. Individually serial numbered.

Introduction:

A piece of history comes to life! The Tirpitz, sister ship of the legendary Bismarck, was the largest battleship ever launched for the German Navy. After the commissioning in February 1941, the Tirpitz soon became a permanent threat for the Western Allies? Navy in the Northern Atlantic. History tells of many attempts to destroy this mighty weapon-loaded colossus. After the Tirpitz was heavily damaged by air attacks from the British Royal Air Force in September 1944, the ship was placed stationary at the Norwegian coast at Tromsö. Once again, the Tirpitz was the primary target for heavy attacks of the Royal Air Force. Then, on November 12. 1944, the Tirpitz was hit by special "Tallboy bombs", which caused the ship to roll over in the shallow water.

Shortly after WW II, a Norwegian specialized company began to explore the wreck and to obtain the high alloy steelfor further civil use. Scientists were very interested in this material as it was used in research and development of measurement technology and even in the astronautics industry. Especially for Boker, Norwegian divers have now retrieved parts of the special armor of the Tirpitz from the Fjord. These pieces of living history are being exclusively forged by our Damascus forger to an extraordinary Damascus Steel with an exciting background. The pattern "Great Pyramids", with more than 300 layers, adorns the mighty 4" blade and makes this piece the highlight of any collection. The combination of the Tirpitz steel and carbon tool steels also creates an extremely rugged Damascus Steelwhich has a hardness of 61 to 63 HRC and can handle any cutting task with ease. The handle, made of high strength AlMgSi1 Aluminum (with Silicium, making it a much higher quality than standard AlMg3), is hardcoat anodized and provides a firm and secure grip. The reversible clip allows for tip-up or tip-down carry. For the handle inlay we chose domestic walnut, which has a long history as shaft wood for German rifles due to its superior characteristics. This eye-catching inlay also features the original Tirpitz crest. This knife combines history, tradition and modern technology in a more than unique way. Comes complete in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity and is serial numbered.

The handy Boker Barlow is an absolute classic in our range and as a lightweight slip-joint pocket knife it handles almost all everyday cutting jobs effortlessly. This particularly noble collector's version is equipped with a blade made of Leopard-Damascus, which is opened by nail-nick. The legendary blade steel by Boker, which has been inspiring the knife scene worldwide for many years, is made of the gun barrel steel of the Leopard main battle tank. It consists of 300 layers and has a hardness of 61 to 63 HRC.

The pocket knife with its integral construction is equipped with a contoured handle body made of olive green Canvas Micarta, which is milled from the solid and also forms the characteristic bolsters of the Barlow. The lightweight construction can thus completely dispense with additional metal liners.
