Unrestrained, with inherent power. Spirited, with a gentle disposition. The vastness in view, everyday life out of sight. The highway seemingly endless, with rough asphalt, crumbling yellow markings, and blowing desert dust. Before long, the endlessness gives way to a feeling of freedom, the sunset bathing the landscape and your spirit in a warming blanket of bliss and gentle wind. The deep sound of the powerful Windsor V8 Small Block engine with 186 kW (253 hp) has a calming effect, making the road trip in the Ford Mustang a very special moment. 

Inspired by the World War II fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang, Ford developed the Mustang in the early 1960s, which was launched in 1964. As a compact sports coupé, the affordable pony car, whose name derives from the galloping horse in the Ford Mustang's radiator grille logo, appealed primarily to a younger clientele. To counter the high-powered competition from Dodge, Pontiac, and Chevrolet, Ford made a statement in the league of powerful muscle cars with the Mustang Mach-1. The first-generation Mach-1 from 1969 was available exclusively as a fastback variant and differed from the production model in both appearance and performance: A sports suspension, matte black sports stripes, and a hood with cooling air intake, chrome exhaust tips and fuel cap, hood pins, front and rear spoilers, and a luxurious interior gave more than 72,000 units of this model a real boost in sales.

Over the years, the Mustang has become the epitome of the muscle car and is now continuing its legacy in its 7th generation. Boker references the vehicle's unmistakable design and makes the legend even more tangible in the 1969 Mach-1 Damascus knife of the same name. Parts from the wheel hub, wishbone, and suspension were used for the elegant 84-layer Damascus blade, which was hand-forged by Chad Nichols in a wave pool pattern inspired by the tire marks burned into the asphalt after a circular donut drift. The ball-bearing blade with its distinctive false edge opens smoothly via the removable thumb pin and cuts with rich torque. To prevent the passionate knife from getting out of hand, the liner lock locks the blade with the familiar coolness of a Ford Mustang. Finger recesses in the handle made of lightweight, high-strength aluminum are reminiscent of the fenders of the muscle car, while the gold-colored inlay of the front handle shell ties in with the side trim of the door and body. 

The expressive Silver Jade color scheme of the handle emphasizes the sporty look of the pocket knife and creates a noticeable V8 vibration in the hand. The sloping back of the handle is nostalgically inspired by the fastback contour of the car body, while the detailed blade screw makes the forward thrust of the wheels palpable. Straight and angular, the stainless steel clip, milled from solid metal, is reminiscent of the door handles on the Ford Mustang. Delivery includes a high-quality floating display, impatient hoof scraping, and the necessary dose of nonchalance. Handcrafted at the Boker factory in Solingen.

In 1966, in Detroit, Michigan, at the heart of the American automotive industry, the foundation for another icon was laid. Among countless vehicles produced during this era, only a few achieved legendary status. The Chevrolet Camaro, originally conceived as a “pony car” for a younger generation, embodied compact dimensions, sporty performance, and attainable power—becoming a symbol of rebellion and freedom. Its success was immediate. Between 1966 and 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaros were produced, offered with twelve different engine variants. In 1969, the Z28, the final Camaro of the first generation, made its debut. Among enthusiasts, it is regarded as one of the finest Camaros ever built. Powered by a robust V8 small-block engine producing 216 kW (294 hp) and equipped with the Special Performance package, the Z28 secured its place among the elite muscle cars, complete with iconic racing stripes. Its motorsport DNA is unmistakable—the engine is a detuned derivative of the highly successful Penske Camaro from the SCCA Trans-Am racing series.

Inspired by this automotive legend, Boker brings the spirit of the Camaro Z28 back to life. What emerged is more than a knife—it is a lifestyle. Created in collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, this distinctive “Muscle Knife” captures the Z28’s power, character, and unmistakable design language. The ball-bearing drop-point blade is crafted from 80-layer Damascus steel with an elegant PVD finish, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in the “Tread” pattern—an homage to the Camaro’s sloped cowl-induction hood. Authentic components from the Camaro’s upper control arm are integrated into the blade material itself.

Smooth deployment is achieved via the thumb stud, while an aggressive stainless steel liner lock ensures reliable blade security. The black hard-anodized aluminum handle translates the vehicle’s body lines into a progressive, sculpted design. Distinctive elements such as the notchback profile, subtle rear spoiler, and gill-like rear fender vents are seamlessly incorporated. The pivot screw echoes classic muscle car wheels, while the straight, milled stainless steel pocket clip recalls polished chrome door handles.

Introduction:

For many years now, the Boker Full-Tang has been a fixture in our product line, and is also a icon among Boker hunting knives. The rugged construction of the knife is based on a single steel blank forging, while the outstanding ergonomics of the clever handle scale design have been enthusiastically accepted by legions of hunters. We have now optimized the Full-Tang in several areas. The handle as whole and the surfaces on the parrying element and pommel are more rounded to optimize handling and also to further enhance the elegant visual appeal. In addition, the handle scales are precision-milled to minimize manufacturing tolerances, thus improving component fit and ergonomics to the maximum achievable level. The blade grind was converted from the previous hollow grind to a flat grind to increase strength. As before, the trusted 440C is used as the blade steel. Shipped with leather sheath. Böker Barlow BFF Knife

Introduction:

The Boker Barlow BFF designed by Lucas Burley is manufactured as a fixed EDC in full tang construction. The renowned designer and full-time knifemaker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the tried-and-tested Barlow and the modern elements of his line design, which is referred to as Post Tactical, with this handy knife. The characteristic drop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century, which certainly makes it one of the oldest models ever. The name of the classic probably goes back to an enterprising Sheffield knife manufacturer of the same name, who began exporting the robust knives to North America around 1800. There they immediately enjoyed great popularity and so the first Barlow models also appeared in the history of the Boker Manufaktur at the end of the 19th century.

In this fixed version, tradition, everyday utility and a touch of tactical finesse find a harmonious harmony. The compact Barlow BFF is made of ice hardened AEB-L, a versatile blade steel with excellent cutting capabilities, good rust resistance and easy resharpening. Designed as a fixed blade, this version of the timeless classic is equipped with contured handle scales made of local walnut wood and fits comfortably in the hand. The decorative hollow brass stud also serves as a lanyard hole and, together with the studs in the same colour, adds a visual accent. Supplied with a custom-fit black leather sheath that ensures a high level of carrying comfort thanks to the integrated clip.

Introduction:

The huge interest in our exceptional Boker Tirpitz-Damast over the years has convinced us to design another model supplied with the historic damascus steel. The Boker Barlow Prime Tirpitz Damascus, which is much more compact than the original model, is not only convincing in the collector's showcase, but also as a gentleman's knife suitable for a pocket. The blade is made of the unique Tirpitz Damascus, is supplied with a modern, elongated ricasso and opens with a nail nick. The sister ship of the legendary Bismarck was the largest battleship ever launched for the German Navy.

Immediately after the end of the Second World War, a Norwegian specialist company began to cannibalise the ship, which had sunk off the Norwegian coast, in order to make the high-alloy steel available for civilian purposes. Norwegian divers recovered parts of the Tirpitz's special armour from the fjord for Boker. From these pieces of living history, the Boker damascus smith exclusively forges an extraordinary damascus supplied with fascinating history. The Great Pyramid pattern in 200 layers distinguishes the hand-forged Damascus blade and makes the knife a highlight of any knife collection. However, the combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steels also results in an extremely durable Damascus that, with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, is up to any task in everyday use.

The operating safety of the history-steeped slipjoint pocket knife is further enhanced by a 90-degree locking mechanism when opening and closing. The Boker Boxer, designed by Raphaël Durand from Thiers, is a classic two-handed knife that is extremely popular. In this particularly noble version, the traditional pocket knife is equipped with a dark blade of Dragonskin Damascus by Bertie Rietveld, which is hardened to 58 HRC. The South African custom knifemaker is considered the country's first Damascus smith and has been forging high-performance Damascus with unusual patterns since 1991. The blade is locked by a sturdy backlock and has a generous ricasso. The decorative stainless steel bolsters bear the groove typical of Raphaël Durand. The Chevrolet Camaro was originally designed as a so-called Pony Car, which was intended to appeal primarily to younger buyer groups. Compact, sporty and affordable - the coupé was the stalwart for the semi-strong. Success was not long in coming. From 1966 to 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaro models with 12 different engine variants rolled off the production line. In 1969, the last Camaro of the first generation, the Z28, was introduced. Connoisseurs consider this model to be one of the best of all series. A massive V8 small block engine with 216 kW (290 hp) and a Special Performance Package propelled the Camaro Z28 into the select league of muscle cars, sporty stripes on the body included. The motorsport DNA of the now coveted collector's item cannot be denied either. The engine used is a toned-down version of the successful and highly decorated Penske Camaro from the SCAA Trans AM racing series.

In collaboration with the Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique "muscle knife" was created that combines the distinctive character traits of the Camaro Z28 in form and strength. The elegant Damascus drop-point blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols with 80 layers in the “Tread” pattern, reminisces of the sloping cowl induction bonnet of the muscle car. For this purpose, parts of the upper A-arm from the Camaro were used for the blade, that opens smoothly with the blue thumb stud, while the biting stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. Based on a colour analysis of an original model, the finely tuned lacquer finish in "Le Mans Blue" was created especially for Boker for the aluminium handle, which interprets the lines of the body in a nostalgic way and comes up with exciting details. The notchback, the small rear spoiler and the gill-like air intakes on the rear wings have been beautifully integrated into the knife. The blade axle screw is lovingly inspired by the rims often used on muscle cars, whereas the straight-lined stainless steel clip, milled from the solid, is reminiscent of the chrome-plated door handles. The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely stable, 6.4 mm thick blade made from N690. The name of the knife goes back to James "Jim" Bowie, the famous pioneer and soldier who is revered as a hero of the Wild West. Contrary to the widely copied Sheffield Bowie, the variations of this outdoor knife resemble the early American Bowie with its s-shaped stainless steel crossguard sporting a finely satinized surface. The exquisite scales of domestic oak lend the Boker Bowie even more authenticity. Comes with a high-quality Western leather sheath in black, design based on the original.

German Böker Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus Collector's Dagger

Introduction:

Boker presents its first military-historical artillery project with the Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus collector's dagger. The 8.8 cm Flak (short for anti-aircraft gun) is considered by many connoisseurs to be the best and undisputedly most versatile gun of the Second World War. Originally developed for anti-aircraft defence, the Eight-Eight (8-8) established its legendary reputation above all in ground combat.

While anti-tank guns with 3.7 cm to a maximum of 7.5 cm were notoriously under-calibrated for the contemporary armour, anti-aircraft guns regularly had relatively large barrel diameters. It quickly became apparent that only the eight-eight was capable of reliably penetrating the armour of the heavy British Matilda II tank or the Soviet T-34, for example, and above all at greater distances of up to 2,000 metres. The pre-requisite for this was that the barrel of the 8.8 cm anti-aircraft gun could be swivelled to a negative angle of inclination - absolutely untypical for an anti-aircraft gun. This made it possible to lower the barrel below the horizontal plane in order to engage ground targets. The gun could also be swivelled 360° around its vertical axis on a column mount with four cross-shaped outriggers. Another advantage of the eight-eight (8-8) was its speed. On the one hand, this resulted from the short time in which the cross mount could be mounted and dismounted, and the gun could therefore be moved. Another was the high rate of fire. As a semi-automatic cannon with a decelerated barrel recoil, the breech was opened after each shot, the percussion piece cocked, and the empty cartridge ejected. A well-trained operating crew, usually consisting of 9 soldiers, could fire up to 20 rounds per minute. As a result, the German anti-aircraft soldiers were able to shoot down 9 out of 1,000 incoming aircraft.

This figure seems soberingly small, but it is still considered to be the highest firing rate of an anti-aircraft gun in the history of war. The 8.8 cm anti-aircraft gun also played a significant role in the legendary reputation of another weapon of the Second World War, which Boker has already used in a Damascus collector's knife. As the main armament, it was installed in the turret of the VI tank, better known as the Tiger. Proven through this use, it later also became the gun of the Nashorn (Rhino) tank destroyer.

The Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus project has been realised as a fulyl-fledged dagger with a medieval look. The centrepiece is the slender but massive 18.1 cm long blade forged from parts of the 8.8 cm Flak. The handle scroll is turned from a piece of domestically stabilised hornbeam with 16 jimpings. With the Boker Försternicker, we are calling on traditional values, since this vintage version of the Nicker used to be a popular part of our program several decades ago. The slightly wider, curved blade is typical for this design, offering a somewhat larger task profile than the classic pointed hunting knife. The curved spine with subtle thumb grooves add to the comfortable grip and highlight the exclusive design.
The Försternicker is ideal for all outdoor tasks on the hunt, since the sturdy blade with its high flat grind combines stability with excellent cutting properties.
