Introduction:

With the Boker Försternicker, we are calling on traditional values, since this vintage version of the Nicker used to be a popular part of our program several decades ago. The slightly wider, curved blade is typical for this design, offering a somewhat larger task profile than the classic pointed hunting knife. The curved spine with subtle thumb grooves add to the comfortable grip and highlight the exclusive design.
The Försternicker is ideal for all outdoor tasks on the hunt, since the sturdy blade with its high flat grind combines stability with excellent cutting properties. The use of modern Böhler N690 for the blade highlights the exceptional practical value thanks to the superior edge retention compared to classic nicker steel. It is also easy to sharpen.
The nickel silver bolster and butt give the Försternicker an excellent grip. The knife is easy to carry in the classic nicker sheath. With scales made from carefully selected stag.

The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely sturdy blade made from N690 and exclusive handle scales made from carefully selected stag. Due to the considerable size and thickness of the handle scales, it was difficult and expensive to find the right supplier for premium-grade stag. At last, the search was successful, and we are happy to offer our many Bowie knife fans a high-end classic version. Handcrafted by Boker Manufactory Solingen. Comes with a high-quality western leather sheath and a new version of the historic Boker tree symbol.

German Böker "Siwss Army Mosaic Damascus Dagger"

Introduction:

As early as the 15th and 16th centuries, the Swiss dagger was used as a common weapon by Swiss pikemen and, due to its blade length, often occupied a middle position between dagger and sword. The dagger, also known as a baselard, usually served as a secondary weapon and was usually not issued as equipment, but had to be procured privately by the soldiers.

The extraordinary Twisted Damascus is now followed by the Mosaic Damascus, which is also very complex to manufacture. It is one of the royal class of Damascus forging and makes the impressive dagger an absolute highlight in every knife collection. In contrast to conventional Damascus, no layers are produced in the manufacture of Mosaic Damascus. Instead, complex Damascus bars are forged by hand into a mosaic in an elaborate and very complicated process. To do this, the Damascus package, which initially consists of stacked layers, is cut up and reassembled in a staggered manner to create a unique mosaic pattern at the end faces of the bar. The DAMASCUS is then cut up again and the complex process is repeated several times, the resulting pattern becoming finer and more unique with each step. Finally, the individual packages are stacked and forged in the shape of a square so that the ends of the individual pieces form a new surface. Forging temperature, forming, deformation rate and the previous steps must be optimally coordinated. This extremely demanding forging process, which only few DAMASCUS smiths master, is carried out to perfection for our Swiss dagger by Chad Nichols.

The dagger blade, sharpened and pointed on both sides, already had a diamond-shaped cross-section in historical models, because this construction proved to be extremely stable and effective. Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard. The unusual, curved design can be traced back to the early 13th century and can also be found in the authentic design of our hand-made edition. The shimmering dark handle made of hand-picked certified imported EBONY is bordered by the highly polished pommel and the crossguard and forms a perfect unit with the fine blade.

The leather sheath, specially designed and handsewn for this model, underlines the exclusivity of this coveted collector‘s item. It is delivered with an individual serial number in a noble wooden box and with a certificate of authenticity. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory Solingen and strictly limited to 500 pieces worldwide.

The Boker Vollintegral XL is the big brother of the Boker Vollintegral, which has been tried and tested for many years, and meets the wish often expressed to us for a larger version. The impressive blade of satin- finnished 440C with a flat grind further maximises the stability of the blade. The steel is ice hardened to 58 to 59 HRC, making it suitable for stronger game, whether in northern Europe or overseas. The knife, drop-forged from one piece of steel, with intricately contoured handle scales is made of certified imported rosewood that always lies securely in the hand. The hand guard and knob are rounded to optimise the look and feel in the hand. Supplied with a high-quality brown leather sheath. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.

Introduction:

The Swiss Dagger was a common weapon of the Swiss pikemen in the 15th and 16th century, which often had a middle position between dagger and sword due to its blade length. The dagger, also known as Baselard, was usually not issued as ordinance weapons, but had to be purchased privately by the soldiers and then served as a secondary weapon. Characteristic of the Swiss Dagger is the design of the pommel and the crossguard. The unusual, curved design can be traced back to the early 13th century and can also be found in the authentic design of our hand-made edition. Handpicked local cherry wood is used for the handles of the dagger, which has enjoyed great popularity since ancient times, especially because of its reddish color. The dagger blade, sharpened and pointed on both sides, already had a diamond-shaped cross-section in historical models, because this construction proved to be extremely stable and effective. It is made of the classic Carbon Steel C75 and impresses simply because of its length. The satin-finished blade is marked with the original Boker blade logo from the 1930s. The logo and the individual serial number guarantee the authenticity of the knife and stand for consistently high production quality. With elaborate metal sheath according to the historical models.

Introduction:

The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely stable, 6.4 mm thick blade made from N690. The name of the knife goes back to James "Jim" Bowie, the famous pioneer and soldier who is revered as a hero of the Wild West. Contrary to the widely copied Sheffield Bowie, the variations of this outdoor knife resemble the early American Bowie with its s-shaped stainless steel crossguard sporting a finely satinized surface. The exquisite scales of domestic oak lend the Boker Bowie even more authenticity. Comes with a high-quality Western leather sheath in black, design based on the original.
