PUMA Phoenix Knife
German PUMA Phoenix Bowie Stag Hunting Knife
~ Made in Solingen / Germany ~
Introduction:
The Puma Phoenix belongs to a type of knife that was already known well over one hundred and fifty years ago in the vastness of the North American prairie and still carries the typical feel of the "Wild West" - from PUMA Solingen.
From the series of PUMA Bowie knives comes our model "phoenix". This knife with its forged blade does every trapper credit. It is a real all-rounder. The 7 mm thick full tang blade made of stainless 1.4116 steel reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC and is therefore up to any task. A solid parry element keeps the working hand away from the blade. The handle scales made of selected stag horn with catch strap eyelet fit perfectly and securely in the hand. This high quality knife is carefully handcrafted in Solingen, Germany. A sturdy saddle leather sheath is included.

PUMA Robuster Knife
German PUMA ROBUSTER Outdoor Knife
- Made in Solingen / Germany -
Introduction:
The Robuster is designed especially for the huge tasks in the wild. It is the best knife for multi-purpose tasks. It works both as a camping knife, as well as as a tool for gutting big game. The ergonomic handle provides a safe handling of the blade. This knife design is a successful synthesis of traditional Asian and European forms, combined with own first-hand experience. The Robuster combines history, elegance, and practicality. Everything that interferes with the performance, like a long ricasso, a paring rod, or a clumsy grip, has been avoided to create a utility knife with extraordinarily high useability. The stylistic base of the handle is taken from a well-prooven European saber grip design of the early 19th century and promises a secure grip even under difficult circumstances. In contrast to conventional knife handles, the rear circumference of this handle is significantly thinner, to let all fingers completely encompass the handle. The perfect combination of history and functionality. The knife blade shows a curved widening at the front, inspired by the forms of the Filipino Bolo Knives.
Its total length is 319 mm. The blade is 193 mm long and 5 mm thick and made from reliable Böhler steel N690 – 1.4528, a very durable steel that is easy to sharpen. The handles are made of walnut wood. The Robuster comes with a leather "quiver sheath", which is attachable in multiple ways. We are committed to quality and provide each knife with a unique serial number and a “Made in Solingen” label.

PUMA Rotwild FAOS Knife
German PUMA Rotwildmesser FAOS Special Edition Knife
- Made in Solingen / Germany -
Introduction:
Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg – hunting tradition meets modern practice.
Franz-Albrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg, born on 16 September 1982 in Munich, comes from the traditional noble family of Oettingen-Spielberg. He was introduced to hunting at an early age by his father, a passionate hunter and successful shooter in the Olympic trap discipline. He developed a high level of shooting skill and hunting precision at an early age. His great passion is driven hunt, especially for wild boar. With his exceptional shooting technique, his instinct for game and his lived hunting ethics, he has made a name for himself throughout Europe. Today, he is considered one of the most famous and accomplished hunters in Europe, combining tradition and modern hunting methods.
His great passion is the five main species of hoofed game: red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, black deer and roe deer.
This model is perfect for powerful red deer hunting: a robust construction for reliable guidance, yet balanced for precise cuts. Developed to work cleanly on larger game bodies. Knives used for hunting should have good stability. This insight has been consistently implemented in our PUMA ‘red deer’ model. The result is a heavy-duty all-round hunting knife with a strong flat-ground blade, whose full tang extends through the handle and is fitted with voluminous deer stag scales. A solid nickel silver guard serves as hand protection. These features make the ‘red deer’ model suitable for heavier cutting tasks and ensure that it will never let its owner down in any situation.
In this exceptional Franz-Abrecht zu Oettingen-Spielberg (FAOS) edition, you receive the PUMA hunting knife with a cognac-coloured leather sheath. You will also find the FAOS logo and an individual number on the back of the main blade (the knives are numbered consecutively. The numbers are assigned after the order is received. It is therefore not possible to choose a number.).
