German Böker "Scout Thuja" Pocket Folding Knife

Introduction:

The Boker Scout has been firmly connected to our name since 1985. No one can say today if anyone would have expected that the pocket knife would be one of the most successful and popular knives from our range. But these many years in short-lived fads, that are also not unusual on the knife market, is definitely special. While no other model has had as many versions as the Scout over the years, the basic specifications never changed. The extremely stable body is from a single piece of nickel silver which is produced by sintering. The hollow ground blade made of stainless N690 contributes with its memorable shape to the incomparable appearance of the Scout. A classic Blacklock keeps the blade safely open. When the knife is opened, the spine locks into a notch on the back of the blade. To close the knife, push down the exposed part of the spine. The harmonic overall impression of this classic is completed by pleasantly shaped handle scales made of Thuja Wood, which elaborately hand-polished to a high gloss.

Böker Solingen "1906" Ebony Pocket Folding Knife

Introduction:

Some things are very much en vogue for a while before falling back into obscurity - usually well deserved. Yet others are much too beautiful, too precious to remain lost forever. The classic Boker 1906 is such a case. The design is more than a hundred years old, but its clear lines are still much loved today. Therefore, we spared no effort to bring the 1906 back to life. Neither old tools nor prototypes or design drawings existed, so we had to redesign the knife from scratch, guided by traditional methods throughout the whole production process.
The result is a charismatic pocket knife with a new lease of life, exuding fin de siècle charm – a very special piece mainly because of its clean lines and characteristic grind. Following the classic style, the plates are brass while the bolsters are nickel silver. The 440C blade is secured with a back spring. Certified imported Ebony handle scales add an elegant accent.

Introduction:

Even in the world of high-tech materials like powder metallurgical steel, composites like carbon or G10 and technical materials such as titanium or zirconium, classic pocket knives are still enjoying unabated popularity. Traditional designs like the Trapper, Scout, Barlow or our sporting knives have always been valued tools for everyday use and garner fans of all ages. With our Classic Gold series, we are offering a deliberate counterpoint to blades of a more modern make; with their laser engraved logo, these blades are certainly state-of-the-art but don't necessarily exude vintage charm. For the Classic Gold series, we came back to classic craftsmanship, finishing the blades with genuine classic gold etching that used to be common for high-quality knives. Highlighting their sophisticated appearance, the knives in this series have scales made from select pieces of certified imported desert ironwood, which is not just very sturdy but also offers a rather elegant look. The design is finished with a classic Boker logo in the handle scale. All in all, the Classic Gold series reaches into the past, bringing it back to life in a tangible way.

The six-piece Boker Camp Knife has been manufactured by hand since 1869 in our Solingen-based Manufactory. The concept, copied many times in the course of history, combines numerous useful tools in a high-quality Pocketknife. It is in production longer than any other multifunctional Knife. It offers two blades, a can opener, a cap lifter, a leather punch and reamer, a corkscrew, and a flathead screwdriver. Both blades are made of polished 4034 steel, the classic blade steel from Solingen, which combines corrosion resistance with the edge retention and is easy to sharpen. Thanks to the practical lanyard strap, the Knife can be easily attached to bags or other objects.

German Böker "Trapper" - TRPPR Pocket Folding Knife

Introduction:

Discreet in its name - sovereign in appearance. The Boker TRPPR (pronounced: trapper) is an extraordinary gentleman's knife that transfers the spirit of the successful Boker Trapper into a new era. Although reduced to the essentials, the pocket-knife leaves nothing to be desired. The ball-bearing blade made of powder metallurgy Magnacut (62-63 HRC) opens silky smooth via a flipper, while the elegant integral framelock with stainless steel inlay and overtravel stop reliably secures the knife. The blade steel used is characterised above all by high wear resistance, high toughness and high corrosion resistance and is rounded off by an attractive two-tone finish. The long bolster of the titanium handle body reinterprets the nostalgic "Spirit of the times" and shapes the TRPPR with its handle scales made of MICARTA and its unique grain into a new model of contemporary knife culture. Decorative accents are set by the front blade axle screw, which features the famous Boker tree emblem, and the titanium clip (tip-up/r) milled from the solid with a ball. To protect it from dirt and scratches, the Boker TRPPR is supplied with a high-quality felt case. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.
