Introduction:

The "Phoenix" belongs to a type of knife that was already known well over one hundred and fifty years ago in the vastness of the North American prairie and still carries the typical feel of the "Wild West" - from PUMA Solingen.

From the series of PUMA Bowie knives comes our model "phoenix". This knife with its forged blade does every trapper credit. It is a real all-rounder. The 7 mm thick full tang blade made of stainless 1.4116 steel reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC and is therefore up to any task. A solid parry element keeps the working hand away from the blade. The handle scales made of warp-free pakka wood with a catch strap eyelet fit perfectly and securely in the hand. This high quality knife is carefully handcrafted in Solingen, Germany. A sturdy saddle leather sheath is included.

The Robuster is designed especially for the huge tasks in the wild. It is the best knife for multi-purpose tasks. It works both as a camping knife, as well as as a tool for gutting big game. The ergonomic handle provides a safe handling of the blade. This knife design is a successful synthesis of traditional Asian and European forms, combined with own first-hand experience. The Robuster combines history, elegance, and practicality. Everything that interferes with the performance, like a long ricasso, a paring rod, or a clumsy grip, has been avoided to create a utility knife with extraordinarily high useability. The stylistic base of the handle is taken from a well-prooven European saber grip design of the early 19th century and promises a secure grip even under difficult circumstances. In contrast to conventional knife handles, the rear circumference of this handle is significantly thinner, to let all fingers completely encompass the handle. The perfect combination of history and functionality. The knife blade shows a curved widening at the front, inspired by the forms of the Filipino Bolo Knives.

Its total length is 319 mm. The blade is 193 mm long and 5 mm thick and made from reliable Böhler steel N690 – 1.4528, a very durable steel that is easy to sharpen. The handles are made of walnut wood. The Robuster comes with a leather "quiver sheath", which is attachable in multiple ways. Introduction:

The PUMA "Wildtöter" is an old classic, which was already designed half a century ago for hunting tracking and still belongs to the necessary equipment of the hunter - from PUMA Solingen.

The PUMA "wildtöter" is characterized by its long, narrow and pointed blade, which finds its use when intercepting game. The knife was created in its original form back in 1975 in collaboration with welding dog handler Tassius. In the meantime, we have revised the "wildtöter" according to new ergonomic findings and also made the entire blade more stable. Thus, this high-quality and beautifully designed hunting knife not only meets the requirements of tracking, but also reliably performs many other tasks in the hunting area.
