Introduction:

For many years now, the Boker Full-Tang has been a fixture in our product line, and is also a icon among Boker hunting knives. The rugged construction of the knife is based on a single steel blank forging, while the outstanding ergonomics of the clever handle scale design have been enthusiastically accepted by legions of hunters. We have now optimized the Full-Tang in several areas. The handle as whole and the surfaces on the parrying element and pommel are more rounded to optimize handling and also to further enhance the elegant visual appeal. In addition, the handle scales are precision-milled to minimize manufacturing tolerances, thus improving component fit and ergonomics to the maximum achievable level. The blade grind was converted from the previous hollow grind to a flat grind to increase strength. As before, the trusted 440C is used as the blade steel. Shipped with leather sheath. Available in 4 different variants.

Böker Barlow BFF Knife

Introduction:

The Boker Barlow BFF designed by Lucas Burley is manufactured as a fixed EDC in full tang construction. The renowned designer and full-time knifemaker from the USA bridges the gap between the historical roots of the tried-and-tested Barlow and the modern elements of his line design, which is referred to as Post Tactical, with this handy knife. The characteristic drop shape of the Barlow can be traced back to the English pocket knives of the 17th century, which certainly makes it one of the oldest models ever. The name of the classic probably goes back to an enterprising Sheffield knife manufacturer of the same name, who began exporting the robust knives to North America around 1800. There they immediately enjoyed great popularity and so the first Barlow models also appeared in the history of the Boker Manufaktur at the end of the 19th century.

In this fixed version, tradition, everyday utility and a touch of tactical finesse find a harmonious harmony. The compact Barlow BFF is made of ice hardened AEB-L, a versatile blade steel with excellent cutting capabilities, good rust resistance and easy resharpening. Designed as a fixed blade, this version of the timeless classic is equipped with contured handle scales made of local walnut wood and fits comfortably in the hand. The decorative hollow brass stud also serves as a lanyard hole and, together with the studs in the same colour, adds a visual accent. Supplied with a custom-fit black leather sheath that ensures a high level of carrying comfort thanks to the integrated clip.

Introduction:

The handy Boker Barlow is an absolute classic in our range and as a lightweight slip-joint pocket knife it handles almost all everyday cutting jobs effortlessly. This particularly noble collector's version is equipped with a blade made of Leopard-Damascus, which is opened by nail-nick. The legendary blade steel by Boker, which has been inspiring the knife scene worldwide for many years, is made of the gun barrel steel of the Leopard main battle tank. It consists of 300 layers and has a hardness of 61 to 63 HRC.

The pocket knife with its integral construction is equipped with a contoured handle body made of olive green Canvas Micarta, which is milled from the solid and also forms the characteristic bolsters of the Barlow. The lightweight construction can thus completely dispense with additional metal liners. Thanks to the likewise contoured handle scales made of certified imported desert-ironwood, this noble gentleman's knife is extremely comfortable to hold. Introduction:

The Boker Boxer, designed by Raphaël Durand from Thiers, is a classic two-handed knife that is extremely popular. In this particularly noble version, the traditional pocket knife is equipped with a dark blade of Dragonskin Damascus by Bertie Rietveld, which is hardened to 58 HRC. The South African custom knifemaker is considered the country's first Damascus smith and has been forging high-performance Damascus with unusual patterns since 1991. The blade is locked by a sturdy backlock and has a generous ricasso. The decorative stainless steel bolsters bear the groove typical of Raphaël Durand. Introduction:

Legends are not born; they are shaped by time until their moment to shape time has come. They don't live a myth, they create it and leave behind a venerable legacy. In 1966, the foundation stone for another icon was laid in Detroit, Michigan. In the epicentre of the US automotive industry, numerous vehicles see the light of day. Many of them are ordinary cars, while others are exclusively chosen. The Chevrolet Camaro was originally designed as a so-called Pony Car, which was intended to appeal primarily to younger buyer groups. Compact, sporty and affordable - the coupé was the stalwart for the semi-strong. Success was not long in coming. From 1966 to 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaro models with 12 different engine variants rolled off the production line. In 1969, the last Camaro of the first generation, the Z28, was introduced. Connoisseurs consider this model to be one of the best of all series. A massive V8 small block engine with 216 kW (290 hp) and a Special Performance Package propelled the Camaro Z28 into the select league of muscle cars, sporty stripes on the body included. The motorsport DNA of the now coveted collector's item cannot be denied either. The engine used is a toned-down version of the successful and highly decorated Penske Camaro from the SCAA Trans AM racing series.

Boker quotes the design of the Camaro Z28 and revives the legend. The result is more than just a knife. An attitude to life, the dignified road trip with the bubbling sound of the V8 engine on the seemingly endless highway, gentle rays of sunlight streaking across the canyon and warming the soul. Unforgettable moments without everyday life - just like the extraordinary Boker 1969 Z28- Damascus. In collaboration with the Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique "muscle knife" was created that combines the distinctive character traits of the Camaro Z28 in form and strength. The elegant Damascus drop-point blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols with 80 layers in the “Tread” pattern, reminisces of the sloping cowl induction bonnet of the muscle car. For this purpose, parts of the upper A-arm from the Camaro were used for the blade, that opens smoothly with the blue thumb stud, while the biting stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. Based on a colour analysis of an original model, the finely tuned lacquer finish in "Le Mans Blue" was created especially for Boker for the aluminium handle, which interprets the lines of the body in a nostalgic way and comes up with exciting details. The notchback, the small rear spoiler and the gill-like air intakes on the rear wings have been beautifully integrated into the knife. The blade axle screw is lovingly inspired by the rims often used on muscle cars, whereas the straight-lined stainless steel clip, milled from the solid, is reminiscent of the chrome-plated door handles. The design of the traditional Boker Bowie was based on original drafts from the early 19th century and equipped with an extremely stable, 6.4 mm thick blade made from N690. The name of the knife goes back to James "Jim" Bowie, the famous pioneer and soldier who is revered as a hero of the Wild West. Contrary to the widely copied Sheffield Bowie, the variations of this outdoor knife resemble the early American Bowie with its s-shaped stainless steel crossguard sporting a finely satinized surface. The exquisite scales of domestic oak lend the Boker Bowie even more authenticity. Comes with a high-quality Western leather sheath in black, design based on the original.

German Böker Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus Collector's Dagger

Introduction:

Boker presents its first military-historical artillery project with the Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus collector's dagger. The 8.8 cm Flak (short for anti-aircraft gun) is considered by many connoisseurs to be the best and undisputedly most versatile gun of the Second World War. Originally developed for anti-aircraft defence, the Eight-Eight (8-8) established its legendary reputation above all in ground combat.

While anti-tank guns with 3.7 cm to a maximum of 7.5 cm were notoriously under-calibrated for the contemporary armour, anti-aircraft guns regularly had relatively large barrel diameters. It quickly became apparent that only the eight-eight was capable of reliably penetrating the armour of the heavy British Matilda II tank or the Soviet T-34, for example, and above all at greater distances of up to 2,000 metres. The pre-requisite for this was that the barrel of the 8.8 cm anti-aircraft gun could be swivelled to a negative angle of inclination - absolutely untypical for an anti-aircraft gun. This made it possible to lower the barrel below the horizontal plane in order to engage ground targets. The gun could also be swivelled 360° around its vertical axis on a column mount with four cross-shaped outriggers. Another advantage of the eight-eight (8-8) was its speed. On the one hand, this resulted from the short time in which the cross mount could be mounted and dismounted, and the gun could therefore be moved. Another was the high rate of fire. As a semi-automatic cannon with a decelerated barrel recoil, the breech was opened after each shot, the percussion piece cocked, and the empty cartridge ejected. A well-trained operating crew, usually consisting of 9 soldiers, could fire up to 20 rounds per minute. As a result, the German anti-aircraft soldiers were able to shoot down 9 out of 1,000 incoming aircraft.

This figure seems soberingly small, but it is still considered to be the highest firing rate of an anti-aircraft gun in the history of war. The 8.8 cm anti-aircraft gun also played a significant role in the legendary reputation of another weapon of the Second World War, which Boker has already used in a Damascus collector's knife. As the main armament, it was installed in the turret of the VI tank, better known as the Tiger. Proven through this use, it later also became the gun of the Nashorn (Rhino) tank destroyer.

The Eight-Eight (8-8) Flak Damascus project has been realised as a fulyl-fledged dagger with a medieval look. The centrepiece is the slender but massive 18.1 cm long blade forged from parts of the 8.8 cm Flak. The handle scroll is turned from a piece of domestically stabilised hornbeam with 16 jimpings. On closer inspection, the radii and proportions of the 5 mm thick stainless steel parrying piece discreetly form the outline of the cross-guard with side extensions folded up for transport. The silhouette of the folded-out mount is indicated on the base of the solid stainless steel end knob. The dagger is fitted with a dark brown leather sheath with a belt loop and localised reinforcement. Supplied with an elegant storage box, certificate of authenticity and a individual serial number.

With the Boker Försternicker, we are calling on traditional values, since this vintage version of the Nicker used to be a popular part of our program several decades ago. The slightly wider, curved blade is typical for this design, offering a somewhat larger task profile than the classic pointed hunting knife. The curved spine with subtle thumb grooves add to the comfortable grip and highlight the exclusive design.
The Försternicker is ideal for all outdoor tasks on the hunt, since the sturdy blade with its high flat grind combines stability with excellent cutting properties. The use of modern Böhler N690 for the blade highlights the exceptional practical value thanks to the superior edge retention compared to classic nicker steel. It is also easy to sharpen.
