Introduction:
A new world standard was set with the Fallkniven A1 through attention to important details including technical design, ergonomics and economy. The Fallkniven A1 surpasses international standards for strength, personal security capabilities, and value for money. The Fallkniven A1 is an all-purpose knife on the larger side designed for heavy duty use. The powerful blade is made of extremely hard and tough laminated VG10 steel, and will withstand the stress of hard use. The knife is superb at chopping as well finer daily cutting tasks thanks to the ergonomic grip. The full tang goes entirely through the handle so you can strike with the end of it without breaking the grip. The sturdy black leather sheath allows you to fasten the knife on your belt or your pack, and even upside down. The Fallkniven A1 is unaffected by water and works equally well in extreme cold and stifling heat.

Introduction:
Your X-knife is the strongest, sharpest and safest stainless steel knife in production. If your life is in danger, you can always rely on your X-knife. It is designed to withstand all the stresses applied by the human hand, which means that it is virtually indestructible. It assumes, however, that you are careful with the knife and that it is used as intended, namely as a sharp precision tool. The basis of the X-knife’s strength lies in the laminated cobalt steel, and also in the well-thought-out construction in which break zones have been eliminated. Together with the hand-shaped convex edge, the X-knife is a concept that beats everything else in the world in terms of safety and comfort. About the all-black version: This surface is the hardest we have ever encountered. Although we really tried to wear down the black coating with the toughest, driest curly birch we could find, we never succeeded in getting holes in this extremely hard, durable surface. Still, we cannot guarantee that it will stay for time and eternity, after all, the blade can be ground and certainly a diamond or ceramic stone will bite on the surface. Also for example a grain of sand can scratch or leave a mark in the coating. The hardness is at 2400 HV (Vickers) or around HRC 83.
In their usual way, they have put a lot of energy into designing a safe knife sheath, which is actually where the knife will spend most of its time. The design of the sheath determines the access to the knife, and here they have really put all their efforts in order to get a safe sheath that allows easy access to the knife. The sheath has both a transport lock (the folding bracket with a strap) and a working safety detail that allows the knife to be in place until you decide to use it. It is a bit a belt-and-braces approach, but we like putting safety first – a lost knife is of no use. The transport lock will therefore allow the knife to be fastened tip-up or tip-down on the body or on your equipment without any risk.

The new series Sputnik especially shines with particularly high use value and an extremely secure grip. The rubbery Forprene handle the Sputnik models are to handle even when wet or cold very comfortable and safe, including the numerous depressions and grooves to play their part. The small built-in guard also carries an eyelet as the glass breaker in the grip end, whereby the Sputnik example can be tied also to a stick. The blade of N690Co is Cerakote-coated and optimally dimensioned with thickness from 5mm to combine cutting potential and stability. The highly functional symmetrical sheath is made of fiberglass and is located in a MOLLE compatible nylon holder with belt loop and detachable leg straps.

Cerakote™ It Is a ceramic based finish that can be applied to metals, enhance a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength and hardness.
This stainless steel blade consists of a chisel tip and a seat belt cutter. Next to that, the blade can be released from the textured G10 scales by either a flipper tab or a Phillips head screwdriver. This also functions as a wave-style opener. A cutout in the blade allows for three different 6-sided wrench sizes. The pocket clip accommodates left-handed and right-handed persons, with the blade in a tip-up position.
